      This largely depends on the source of the marijuana and also the age of the individual taking it. There’s a lot of data showing that its not good to take it as a child/adolescent because it can effect the way in which your brain develops.

      I don’t think it’s healthy, but I don’t see the problem with medical grade marijuana being used as pain relief/symptom control if there is good evidence that it is effective and doesn’t cause untoward side effects. Afaik there is evidence of links between recreational use, especially if heavy and when you are young, and higher incidence of psychiatric conditions later in life. Overall I think more research is needed to understand the full truth.
