I studied science and kind of got interested in health which led me to Epidemiology. But i didnt find my niche until I started working on clinical trials.

I was really interested in the microbiology-related modules in college, and I think it was my work placement in 3rd year that helped me decide to try to pursue it as a career. I had come across quorum sensing by bacteria in plant science lectures, and did my undergraduate research project in 4th year on biofilms forming on microplastics so when the PhD project I’m working on was advertised, I knew I wanted to try to apply for it.
